SGM Continues Partnership with MY Clean Beach

SGM continued its partnership with MY Clean Beach through a beach cleaning activity at Pantai Batu Laut, Tanjug Sepat, Selangor on 2 November 2025. Forty SGM members volunteered for the event, strengthening the collaboration established during the recent Run for Peace.

MY Clean Beach acts as Malaysia’s sustainability partner for the Commonwealth Clean Oceans Plastics Campaign, an initiative jointly launched by the Commonwealth Games Federation and the Royal Commonwealth Society.

In just two hours, the volunteers successfully removed over 200 kilograms of trash. This swift action helps protect marine life and supports broader ocean conservation efforts. All collected waste was subsequently sorted for proper recycling and disposal, ensuring responsible waste management.
