Nichiren Buddhism Entrance Course Held in Kuala Lumpur to Solidify New Members’ Basics of Faith

On 29 March 2026, the SGM Culture Centre hosted the Nichiren Buddhism Entrance Course with 194 participants.

Conducted in Chinese and English, the programme featured question-and-answer sessions and dramatised presentations, introducing the development of the Soka Gakkai, the efforts of the three founding presidents in advancing kosen-rufu, and key concepts such as the Ten Worlds and the Soka perspective on happiness.

Women’s division leader Vicky Ho shared her faith experience, highlighting transformation in her family and her continued contributions to cultural and artistic initiatives.

A total of 43 participants, including 21 youths, became Professors of Happiness that day, marking progress towards the 8,000-youth shakubuku goal.
