伟明：哎呀，天空布满乌云了！
晓虹：是啊，看起来快要下大雨了。最近都会下起雷阵雨。
周老师：这是因为现在正值雨季哦。
伟明：我不喜欢雨季，因为总觉得周围很潮湿，很不舒服。
周老师：其实这是热带气候的一部分，马来西亚每年都会经历这样的雨季。
晓虹：没错，马来西亚算是全球降雨量最多的国家之一，每年平均降雨量约为三千毫米呢！
周老师：虽然这听起来很多，但我们并没有完全善用这些雨水资源。
伟明：咦？老师，我记得马来西亚建造了大约二十一座水坝，不是吗？
周老师：你说得没错，我们确实有水坝，但并不是所有的雨水都会落入水坝。很多雨水都直接流失了，只有一小部分的雨水被储存。而且，若某个地区短时间内降下大量雨水，有可能引发闪电水灾。
