老师要我代表班级参加演讲比赛，但我并不想要参加。妈妈说这是”难得的机会”，我却觉得是被逼的。为什么大人总要我做不想做的事？如果自由是可以选择，为什么我不能说不？这样想，是不是很任性？

谢谢你愿意与我分享你真实的感受。
其实，我并不觉得你是任性，而是一个正在认真思考“选择”的人。
先说一件重要的事：你现在的感受是正常的。
如果随意被安排、被期待，却还没准备好，这本来就会让人感到压力、不舒服。
如果这是自由，为什么一点也不像自由？这个问题，其实很多大人到现在还在思考。
我想和你分享一个想法。自由并不只是“没人管我”，它也与“我有没有能力做选择”有关。
