The following are excerpts from President Ikeda’s speech at the Soka Gakkai Headquarters leaders meeting commemorating Soka Gakkai Day and Soka Gakkai Mothers Day, held at the Makiguchi Memorial Hall in Hachioji, Tokyo, on 20 April 2006. Video footage of the speech was broadcast during the Soka Gakkai Headquarters leaders meeting on 18 April 2026.
