Public Lecture on Muslim-Buddhist Dialogue

"Dialogue on a global basis is not only a possibility, it is a necessity," according to Prof Swidler from Temple University, USA.

June 2, 2003, Kuala Lumpur: Prof. Leonard Swidler from Temple University, USA gave a lecture on the importance of interfaith dialogue to about 300 people. Prof Swidler is currently a professor of Catholic Thought and Inter-religious dialogue. In his lecture Prof Swidler spoke of the importance of dialogue and understanding among adherents of different faiths. Prof Swidler was in Malaysia for two weeks for a series of workshops, seminars and lectures on inter-religious dialogue.
