Tadika Seri Soka Teachers Visit
Singapore Soka Kindergarten

A delegation of 31 teachers from Tadika Seri Soka led by Principal Lee Kah Poh visited Singapore Soka Kindergarten for an exchange on March 11, 2008. The purpose of the exchange was to enable teachers to widen their horizons and to strengthen bonds of friendship among one another.

The group arrived in Singapore on the morning of March 11 and made their way to the Tampines Soka Centre, which was located next to the Singapore Soka Kindergarten. After a video session introducing Singapore Soka Association and a brief tour of the facility, they proceed to the kindergarten.

Both kindergartens share the same education ideals like all other Soka kindergartens – a common goal of providing humanistic education for children’s growth and happiness. During their small group dialogues, the teachers exchanged ideas and shared experiences in teaching methods and learning activities. They also shared creative approaches used in their respective kindergartens to handle issues like children’s discipline and learning disabilities.
