A group of 14 students from Soka University, Japan (SUJ) visited Tadika Seri Soka (TSS) from February 20 to 23, 2008 for an education exchange. Many of the members of this delegation comprise students who aspire to be educators upon their graduation. Although they initially experienced some difficulties in communication, the SUJ students soon won over the children with their sincerity and charm, and bonded well with all the children. The SUJ students joined the teachers and children in their classroom activities, entertaining the children with performances and also gave the children souvenirs.
On February 23, 2008, the SUJ students also joined 170 TSS children on a field trip to the Malaysian Royal Air Force Museum. The field trip was organised as part of the TSS curriculum to complement what the children have learned in the classroom.
