SGM Johor Invites Singaporean Artistes
for Family Day

SGM Johor celebrated its seventh anniversary of the establishment of the SGM Johor Culture Centre and organised Family Day on April 20, 2008 by inviting well-known Singaporean singers Jiu Jian and Jeff Wang to perform in two shows, attracting about 3,000 people. The youth division members performed a dance during the opening ceremony.

Singer-cum-composer, Jiu Jian related about his experiences of failing profession, going astray, taking drugs, getting jailed, suffering from deep depression and making suicide attempts before being rescued by Nichiren Buddhism.

Besides Jiu Jian, renown Singaporean artiste Jeff Wang, a 30-year believer, Shee Gwo Thai, Frisco Lim and an air hostess Choo Li Ling told about their “turn-over fate” experiences, which gave inspiring encouragement to the members and friends.

As a finale, the artistes sang a beautiful and meaningful number entitled “The Four Seasons”.
