On June 21, the Miao-yin (Wonderful Sound) Chinese Orchestra of Soka Gakkai Malaysia (SGM) Selangor performed at the charity event of SJK(C) Lick Hung, Subang Jaya, Selangor, to raise funds for the setting up of a Chinese orchestra in the school. The SGM group also took the opportunity to introduce Soka Gakkai International (SGI) President Ikeda to the public through performing two songs – “Haha” (Mother) and “Ningen Kakumei No Uta” (Song of Human Revolution). The original Japanese lyrics were written by Mr Ikeda. Altogether they performed a total of seven pieces including a Malay folk song “Lenggang Kangkung”.
