On August 23, 2008, the Chang Feng Hall at the Soka Gakkai Malaysia (SGM) Culture Centre, Cheras was filled with wonderful songs from Taiwan and Malaysia. The Taiwanese choirs consisted of the famous Kaohsiung choir and the Jiayi City’s ‘Zhang Wang’ choir while the Malaysian choirs were the Alumni of Seremban Chinese Secondary School Students (Klang Valley) and the SGM Hibiscus Choir. Soka Gakkai International (SGI) President Ikeda’s poem, followed by numerous beautiful songs which included folk songs, songs in the Hokkien dialect and solos, making for an enjoyable, educative and poetic evening.
