On December 7, 2008, SGM Penang organized a blood donation campaign for the benefit of the Penang Thalassaemia Society. A total of 67 members and others responded to contribute 55 packs of blood. The campaign received assistance from the medical staff of the General Hospital of Seberang Jaya. The Penang Thalassaemia Society also presented appreciate certificates to all the donors.
