SGM Johor Named "Caring Organisation"

On December 16, 2011, SGM Johor was awarded the Johor Bahru District Caring Organisation Award 2011 (Anugerah Organisasi Peyayang 2011 Daerah Johor Bahru) and Johor State Caring Organisation Award 2011 (Anugerah Organisasi Penyayang Peringkat Negeri Johor). Johor Menteri Besar Y.A.B. Dato' Haji Abdul Ghani Othman presented the awards at a dinner function hosted by the Johor Family Development Foundation (Yayasan Pembangunan Keluarga Negeri Johor).

SGM Johor won the Johor Bahru District Caring Organisation award.

Among the 10 district level award winners, SGM Johor emerged as overall winner of the Johor State Caring Organisation Award 2011. These awards, conferred once every two years, were initiated by the Johor State government to recognise and encourage efforts of individuals, corporations and organisations for their contributions to the society. SGM Johor was selected due to their endeavours in promoting peace, culture, education, environmental awareness and contribution to the community.
