On July 11, 2011, the "Seeds of Hope" (SOH) exhibition was kicked-off in SMK Sultanah Engku Tun Aminah, Johor Bahru. A video was shown followed by an introduction to the exhibition which will be opened on July 13, 2001.

The objective of the exhibition was to raise awareness about the importance of being responsible to our environment and humankind among the students and teachers. Students were given a chance to learn how to organise exhibitions and speak in public, which will help them to build their self-confidence. The exhibition was jointly-organised by the Resource Centre Club, Consumer Club and the Environment Club of the school.

On July 13, in conjunction with a co-curriculum day, the exhibition was officially opened and all students were given a chance to view the display. About 1,000 students viewed the exhibition.
