"Seeds of Hope" at New Era College

From April 27 to 29, 2011, in the effort to promote sustainable development, the "Seeds of Hope" exhibition was held at New Era College. This is the second collaboration between SGM and the college, following the exhibition "From a Culture of Violence to a Culture of Peace: Transforming the Human Spirit."

College President Dr Pua Eng Chong, in his opening address, pointed out that he supported the SGM’s campaign for peace and sustainable development and hoped that it could be promoted in more institutions of learning. Dr Pan urged spectators to protect the environment while "caring for the earth from their hearts."

Among the distinguished guests present were SGM General-Director Choo Kong Fei; SGM Public Relations representative Chia Kok Peng; the director of the Institute of Malaysian and Regional Studies, Dr Voon Phin Keong; head of the Centre of Law and Society , Dr Loh Yoong Keong and Head of the Public and International Relations Affairs Office Hong Woan Ying.
