SGM Johor co-organises the "Seeds of Hope" and Distributes Donations from Tan Chin Tuan Foundation
On April 22 and 23, 2011, members of SGM Johor in Tangkak collaborated with SMJK Pei Hwa and its alumni association to organise the "Seeds of Hope" exhibition at the school hall where it was viewed by about 2,000 teachers, students and their parents.
The exhibition was officially opened by the member of parliament for Ledang, Y.B. Tuan Ir. Haji Hamin bin Samuri, who pointed out that the love and care for environment should be nurtured from young in order to mould a future generation who would have a proper perspective of life and contribute towards protection of the environment.
On the same day, SGM Johor and the Tan Chin Tuan Foundation distributed cash coupons to 272 needy students from 15 primary and secondary schools in Ledang and Muar districts for them to purchase books, stationery, school bags and uniforms.
