From December 20-23, 2010, the new environmental exhibition "Seeds of Hope: Visions of Sustainability, Steps towards Change," created by SGI and the Earth Charter International, was shown in English and Mandarin at Multimedia University (MMU), Cyberjaya.
The exhibition which was organised by SGM and the Chinese Language Society (CLS) of MMU was viewed by more than 320 people. At the official launching on 20 December, Encik Omarruddin bin Ibrahim, Manager of Student Affairs Division expressed appreciation to CLS and SGM for the initiative to hold this exhibition.
He said that the exhibition was important to educate and spread awareness on the interconnectedness of man and the environment as well as the need for human beings to respect each other and their surroundings. Accompanying the exhibition was the screening of the film, A Quiet Revolution. Over 30 students volunteered to be guides and personnel for the exhibition.
"Seeds of Hope" is a successor to the "Seeds of Change" exhibition and is a tool for the United Nations Decade of Education for Sustainable Development (2005-2014). Since the launch of the updated "Seeds of Hope" exhibition in April 2010, the exhibition has been shown at 22 venues in Malaysia and viewed by more than 15,000 people.

Drawing inspiration from SGI President Ikeda's 2002 proposal on education for sustainable development, the exhibition employs the formula of "Learn, Reflect, Empower" to highlight the fact that a single person can initiate change and stresses the interconnection between human beings and the environment.
