On October 2, 2010 the youth members of SGM Kedah was invited by Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) to present a gymnastics performance during its fifth Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations. The atmosphere was filled with youthfulness and vigour, wining thunderous applause from the audience.

The mid-autumn evening is an annual activity organised by UniMAP to promote Chinese culture, friendly exchanges and understanding among people. The whole event attracted about 700 people from UniMAP, Universiti Utara Malaysia, their staff and the community.
