On September 8, 2010, SGM Penang, represented by Chee Sing Gek, Tan Hock Chye and Mr and Mrs Tan Gee Seng, donated a total of 84 books to the Penang State Library.

The books include those on Buddhist philosophy, culture, education, SGI President Ikeda’s peace proposals, and also his dialogues with key figures in academic, arts, peace and human rights from around the world. The book donation will not only be a great help to people who love culture, peace and education, but will also let the citizens of Penang have a better understanding of SGM activities and SGI President Ikeda’s ideals of happiness and world peace.
