In August 2010, SGM Men Division members around Malaysia attended commemorative gongyo meetings at their respective states to celebrate the Men Division Day August 24. Under the theme, “The path of mentor and disciple is the key to the brilliant development of kosen-rufu in the future,” over six thousand members celebrated the joyous day by singing vibrant songs, watching a documentary video highlighting SGI President Ikeda’s effort in promoting dialogue for world peace and inspiring experiences.

In his congratulatory message to the men division members, President Ikeda praised them as “the solid and reliable pillars of the SGI” whose noble seeking spirit and courageous advance will ensure that they and their loved ones will be protected and endowed with immense good fortune.

Pahang

SGM Men Division Leader Lau Pak Hup urged all men division members to chant abundant daimoku, have strong faith and develop a strong challenging spirit to become golden pillars, creating a life full of joy and happiness.
