On August 7, 2010, SGM Johor organised a motivational seminar for 200 teachers and students of five primary and secondary schools at the SGM Johor Culture Centre with sponsorship from the State Economic Planning Department. Each student received a school bag, a pair of shoes, shoe polish and stationery.

The SGM Johor youth gave performances of Chinese drums and multi-cultural dances. The representatives of the Pacific Youth Outreach Society talked on crime prevention among youth and sex education.

The organisers invited the head of the Johor Counselling Unit of the Education Department, En Anuar bin Ahmad as the guest of honour for the closing ceremony.
