On July 10, 2010, SGM Negeri Sembilan participated in in the “Seremban Charity Sale Carnival” to raise funds for the Seremban Chung Hua High School.

SGM Negeri Sembilan set up a booth which sold cakes, herbal eggs, and several types of snacks and beverages. Due to overwhelming response, all food items were sold off very quickly and SGM managed to collect around RM3,000, which was then donated to the school.

The event received encouraging support from 83 organisations from around the state. The charity carnival was declared open by the Tourism Minister, Dato Seri Dr Ng Yen Yen. Other guests present include President of Chinese Assembly for Negeri Sembilan, Lau Chee Boon, Sin Chew Daily’s Group Chief Executive Officer Xu Chun and Senator Dato’ Yeow Chai Thiam.
