On June 5 and 6, 2010, 20 leaders participated in a Youth Leaders Camp at Tawau Hills Park organised by SGM Sabah. Focused on the basics of “faith, practice and study”, the camp aimed to strengthen team spirit and to deepen the understanding on SGM and its objectives.

Surrounded by the serene of Tawau Hills Park, participants were divided into five groups and conducted dialogues in the midst of the beautiful natural surroundings. The dialogue focused on inspiring the youth to build a solid foundation in life. On the second day, participants studied SGI President Ikeda’s lecture on the gosho “The Dragon Gate”. In this lecture, President Ikeda encouraged his successors to shoulder the noble mission of dedicating one’s life to the happiness of oneself and others and create a victorious life. Finally, all participants had discussion on “being the captain of one’s life,” concluding the camp by expressing their vows for kosen rufu.
