On May 8, 2010, SGM Johor members in Tangkak, together with a youth organisation in Muar organised a colouring and drawing competition in order to foster creative interest of students in colouring and drawing as well as to encourage better understanding of the concept of “1Malaysia” among the youth. The competition was held in the basketball court of the SRJK Qi Meng, Tangkak and attracted 234 pupils from primary schools in the district. SGM Johor youth also presented a modern dance and three ethnic dances to enliven the atmosphere. The competition was supported by the China Post.
