In conjunction with May 3, the SGM culture groups also staged a series of performances with "50 Years Triumph of Mentor and Disciple" as the main theme.

General Director Choo then concluded with a phrase from The Heritage of the Ultimate Law of Life, "All disciples and lay supporters of Nichiren should chant Nam-myoho-renge-kyo with the spirit of many in body but one in mind, transcending all differences among themselves to become as inseparable as fish and the water in which they swim." (WND-I, p. 217). He encouraged all leaders to unite in achieving the goal that is given by President Ikeda – "Number one the world over, the place of victory, Malaysia"
