SGM Johor organised a Course Counselling forum for the members of High School Division on January 17, 2010 at the SGM Johor Culture Centre, Johor Bahru. The forum managed to draw 124 participants from all over Johor.

The forum focused on providing information on the future prospects of higher education. The invited speakers managed to cover topics involving higher education institutions, scholarships and other educational financial aide. SGI President Ikeda once encouraged high school students in the following way, “Although your studies are important, it alone will not bring you happiness. The most important is to develop a strong character, a life state which can win in all obstacles.”

Through the O&A session, the participants were able to develop self confidence to further their dreams. Other than providing the participants with relevant information on higher education, the forum deepened the participants’ understanding on the key elements to success.
