On November 7, 2009, a total of 80 representatives from SGM Kedah participated in the "Senam Seni 1Malaysia" (Mass Aerobics) promoted by the State Culture Department. The event drew over 800 participants. Besides aerobics, there were dances of the three main races, drum art, wushu, exhibition and food stalls. The director of the Culture Department and the town councilors were among those present.
