| SGM Kuala Lumpur blood donation drive |
On October 18, 2009, SGM Kuala Lumpur in cooperation with the National Blood Bank organised a blood donation drive at the SGM Culture Centre, Cheras. Members and their family members came in batches throughout the day for the drive. A total of 217 successful donors were recorded. The event is part of SGM’s continuous efforts to contribute to the community.
On the same day, in the east coast, SGM Pahang joined forces with the Lions Club to organise a blood donation drive at the Kuantan Parade shopping mall. With the assistance of the staff of Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan, the drive recorded a total of 149 successful blood donors.
