As indicated by the title, this exhibition attempted to discover possibilities and variables which could coexist in arts, science and our psychology, challenging the society to think intellectually out of the box. Falling into three themes, the artists sought to enrich the audience’s perception of beauty in objects found in their daily life. Hence, on display were works comprising of objects such a carpet with a bulging centre, large sugar-coated hearts, C-Print photos and abstract paintings. Each one was loaded with unique stories waiting to be discovered; each waiting to evoke different emotions and scenarios in the viewers’ minds and hearts when given a chance.
Delighted to see the younger generation of artists actively promoting and making the visual arts accessible to the public, Dr Mohamed Najib, mentioned in his opening speech that such initiative would benefit the artscene in the long run. He also pointed out one of the activity highlights - a unique poetry session in different languages – would open up discourses and polemics and encourage the exploration of new ideas.
