On May 24, 2009, SGM Johor (Honbu 5 – located in north-east region of Johor Bahru) organised a charity sale to raise funds to help the families of single mothers. The event which was held in conjunction with Mother's Day attracted more than 4,000 people from the community. Over 200 SGM Johor members were involved in the event held at the sales office of property developer, Dynasty View in Johor Bahru. SGM donated a total of RM25, 000 raised from the charity sales to families of single mothers from different races.
