A photographic exhibition "Chile – All Ways Surprising" was held at the SGM Kedah Culture Centre, Alor Star, from May 8 to 10, 2009. It was jointly organised by SGM and the Embassy of Chile. Over a hundred photographs by top Chilean photographers were displayed, featuring a selection of photographs which captures the diversity and beauty of this South American nation. In conjunction with the exhibition, a lecture on photography by Song Jin Tek, a renowned photographer from Penang was held on May 9, 2009. More than 60 persons attended the lecture.
