On March 15, 2009, SGM Johor held a health seminar and blood donation campaign at the hall of Chong Hwa High School in Kluang, Johor. The event which received encouraging response from the public was jointly organised by SGM Johor (Honbu 2), the Red Crescent Society (Johor Bahru chapter) and the Parkway Health Group. It attracted about 800 people. The panel of speakers included a gynaecologist, a urologist and intestinal specialist and an ENT specialist. In conjunction with the health lecture, SGM Johor collaborated with the Kluang District Hospital to organise a blood donation drive which collected 105 packs of blood. On the same day, the participants were also given free blood sugar, blood pressure and body weight checks.
